FRIDAY DECEMBER 9TH      

 Dress Rehearsal at The Playhouse Theater of WTHS

    Arrive in regular dance attire, hair done, pack make-up.

General Rehearsal Schedule:  4-9p

  Specific Time Breakdown:

                        Somewhere in my Memory/Hip Hop Party - Arrive 4pm

                        Begin rehearsal 4:30-5:00pm

                        Grinch Scene (Grinch, Little Whos, Big Whos)  Arrive 4:30pm

                        Begin rehearsal 5:00pm-5:45pm

​

                        Santa Scene (Mrs Claus, Santa’s Little Helpers, Big Elves, Gingerbread 

                                    Cookies, All Toys)  Arrive 5:00pm

​

                        Begin rehearsal 5:45pm-6:45pm

                            Reindeer (Mrs Claus, Toys) Immediately following the Santa Scene

 

Rejoice!  (The Christmas Angel, Ballet Angels, Pointe Angels, Contemporary Angels, 

The Shepherds, The Magi, Mary & Joseph)  Arrive 6:15pm

                        Begin rehearsal 6:45pm-7:30pm

*This is an approximate time schedule for dress rehearsal.  All cast members should pack a light dinner to eat between their scenes.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 10TH    In Studio Tech Rehearsal          

10am - entire cast

10am-1pm  Studio Dancers    

10am-?pm   Company

Please arrive in regular dance attire with proper hair.  Pack water & a granola bar.

 

SUNDAY DECEMBER 11TH        It’s Showtime, Folks!!!

12:30pm - Arrive at the theater CARRYING costumes.  Make-up & hair complete for your 1st scene.

Show times:  1:30pm and 4:30pm!    PACK a lunch!  No soda please.  No cast member can leave the theater between shows.

 

REMINDER:  *All cast members must purchase a minimum of four (4) show tickets.  Thank you.

        *NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR CELL PHONE VIDEO OR VIDEO ALLOWED.

        *Every cast member will receive a professionally recorded digital recording of both performances!  $30

*Please ask your show guests to take their seats once they arrive at the theater.  The lobby is very small!

*No beverage is permitted in the theater other than water.  Candy will be available for purchase. 

*Immediately following each show the lead cast members will have a Meet & Greet in the front of the theater.

MORE TIPS!

 

A High-Flat Bun……    Make the bun at the crown of the head, shaped like a fat pancake.

Bobby pin securely to the dancer’s head so you can’t get your fingers

under the bun.  Secure with a hairnet that is twisted over the bun several times

Keeping it very tight.  Lots of hair spray.  Gel if needed!

Pack all these supplies with your costumes.  Safety pins!

 

A Low Bun………    Measure 2 fingers at the bottom of the dancer’s hair.  Make the bun right

                above that.  Secure tightly with bobby pins and hair net.

 

French Braid……..    If you need a french braid for your parts, please arrive at the theater

                With clean hair that is all down.  The company girls will do the braids for

                The little dances!  PACK  GEL, SPRAY, BOBBY PINS!  We will not have

                Hair supplies for your dancer….you must bring your own supplies. 

 

THEATER DRESS REHEARSAL ON FRIDAY!

One female guardian should enter the dressing room with the dancer and Get into the first costume.  

Once completed, all guardians must sit in the very back of the theater during rehearsal.  

If you choose to leave and come back, that is good, please just let us know that you’re

stepping out for a bit.  No dancer will be permitted to leave the dressing room/theater area at any time.    

 

Rehearsal will move very slowly!  The crew must set the lights

on each routine and we will work with each group until they feel

comfortable on the stage.

 

Tickets will be available at the front desk all week and at the theater Friday night.

Tickets are also available at the door on show day!
