Erin has studied dance since the age of six. After high school she began a five year training program to become a dance educator, focusing on dance education, terminology, and the art of choreography. Upon completion of the program she received a scholarship to Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Studying intensively for two years under such renowned teachers and choreographers as Frank Hatchett, Sheila Barker, Chio Yamama and Rhapsody James, she focused on Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Contemporary and Tap. After returning home, Erin taught in several schools in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. Erin also teaches master classes, summer dance programs, and has choreographed musicals for several area high schools. Erin attends dance workshops and conventions regularly, striving to improve her own dance training and teaching techniques. Erin has been on the faculty of DANCE! for 11 years and thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion for the arts with all her students. Erin resides in Voorhees with her husband Matt and two children, Abigail & Ian.
