LeeAnn Littleton
Serving the school as the Business Administrator, Dance Educator, Choreographer and Company Director, LeeAnn grew up through the levels of the school, realizing at a young age that she would like to share her dance passion with children in a studio setting. LeeAnn's lifetime of dance studies included classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary tap, modern, hip hop and musical theater. Invited into the Workshop Company at the age of seven, LeeAnn was a strong presence on the stage throughout her childhood. While earning a degree in Business Management with a Minor in Dance at Rowan University, she was a member of the Rowan Contemporary Dance Company, the Rowan Dance Team, and the Dance Extensions Executive Board President and Vice President. LeeAnn has performed with several local companies in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas, has choreographed many high school musicals and has taught many workshop and master classes for dance schools and organizations. She has studied extensively with master teachers Frank Hatchett, Sheila Barker, Michelle Barber, Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Chris Judd, and Wade Robson. LeeAnn attends teacher workshops and conventions several times a year, always anxious to share her continued knowledge with her students in the classroom. Receiving top honors from dozens of regional and national competitions, her lyrical and contemporary pieces hit an emotional cord with many viewing audiences. Many competitions have enjoyed and honored LeeAnn's work. LeeAnn is the Director of the The DANCE! Workshop Company. The Company performs a full-length production each spring, attends several competitions a year, and gives back to the community through performance and dance-fund raising events. LeeAnn started a student run organization, the DWC, for the Company dancers, encouraging and guiding them to perform for the community using their dance talents as their tool to raise funds for benefit performances.
